TODD RUSSAW

Todd Russaw has been an influential talent manager and music producer for over 25 years. Todd is currently co-founder and strategic advisor at Think BIG. In addition to his role as co-founder, Todd is CJ Wallace’s other father—the man who raised him. In the mid-’90s, Todd served as A&R Director at Motown Records, where he worked with R&B icon Missy Elliot on her first platinum album as a producer: 702’s debut, No Doubt.

As co-founder of Think BIG, Todd leverages decades of experience working with artists, musicians, and brands on partnership integrations and provides insight on all business development initiatives.

As a user of cannabis, Todd knows firsthand that it drives creativity. He credits it with inspiring much of the hip hop music he worked on. He also used cannabis as a tool in the studio to help artists connect to a relaxed and shared sense of creativity. He also saw firsthand how this healing plant helped his son, Ryder, in his struggle with autism. 

Serving as executive producer and A&R director, Todd has worked with producers such as Sean Combs, Chucky Thompson, Pharrell Williams, Babyface, and Diana Warren on at least a dozen collaborations. Under Pedigree Multimedia, Todd represented R&B legend Faith Evans and three certified platinum records. While working with her, Todd produced three hit albums: The First Lady (platinum), A Faithful Christmas (gold), and Something About Faith featuring Snoop Dogg. During their collaboration, Faith Evans was nominated for four Grammy awards (one win) for her work with Sean Combs on “I’ll Be Missing You,” a track dedicated to her late husband, Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace.
